Why I’m Running

Every student deserves a school where they feel safe, supported and able to succeed. I’m running because families deserve a trustee who listens, asks the right questions and keeps student success at the centre of board decisions.

I want to bring a practical, collaborative approach to the role, with clear communication, responsible decision-making and meaningful engagement with families and the community.

About Vinay

Vinay Paramanand is an Oakville parent whose daughters attend Iroquois Ridge High School and Falgarwood Public School. He has school council experience and understands the importance of strong communication between families, schools and the board.

His professional and community work spans education, innovation, community programs and public-sector partnerships. He brings a practical approach: ask the right questions, work collaboratively and stay accountable for results.
